YOUNG BOT BUILDERS with WTU Enrichment


This workshop is an ideal tool to introduce robots into the elementary or
middle school students. It provides students with an engaging program to
teach STEM concepts utilizing the LEGO WEDO Robots. Students learn
how to program basic robot behaviors using motors and rotation, sound,
light, touch and ultrasonic sensors. Our instructors teach students how to
use the programming language, build robots, basic robot behavior, use of
sensors, robot competition, etc. Students will be working in small teams of
four to complete the motorized project assisted.

FLAMINGO CODERS with WTU Enrichment


This workshop will expose your child to STEAM education with a coding
program. Students will develop their computational thinking abilities and
build their own inventive programs. WTU’s curriculum combines a blend of
enjoyable activities – together “on-screen” and “off-screen” – to keep
students engaged and excited about coding. This class will give students a
strong foundation on coding basics, such as algorithm, loops and
conditionals. Students will be working in buddy system to encourage group
learn.

Have a blast creating robotic games. Students will learn about gear ratio,
sensors, programming, and pulleys as they create fun to play games.

Androids with e2 young Engineers

Students will learn the terms “robot”, “idle gear”’ “Symmetry and asymmetry”. They will have fun by building a robot with legos while they learn about gears, motors and human like movements. At the end of the class, the students can have even more fun competing in the robot wars.
